  What is sinusitis?
Yazar: kevinmanuel - 09-04-2018, Saat: 15:40 - Forum: Sinüzit miyim? Sinuzit Belirtileri - Yorum Yok

Hi,

A sinus is a hollow space in the body. There are many types of sinus, but sinusitis affects the paranasal sinuses, the spaces behind the face that lead to the nasal cavity.
The paranasal sinuses have the same mucous membrane lining as the nose. They produce a slimy secretion called mucus. This keeps the nasal passages moist and traps dirt particles and germs.
Sinusitis occurs when mucus builds up and the sinuses become inflamed.
Doctors often refer to sinusitis as rhinosinusitus, because inflammation of the sinuses nearly always occurs with inflammation of the nose known as rhinitis.

  Sinus Infection Symptoms
Yazar: kevinmanuel - 09-04-2018, Saat: 15:39 - Forum: Sinüzit miyim? Sinuzit Belirtileri - Yorum Yok

What,

Acute sinusitis only lasts for a short time, defined by the American Academy of Otolaryngology as less than four weeks. An acute infection is usually a cold or other respiratory illness. Chronic sinus infections last for more than twelve weeks or continue to recur. Specialists agree that the main criteria for sinusitis include facial pain, infected nasal discharge, and congestion.
Many sinus infection symptoms are common to both acute and chronic forms. Seeing your doctor is the best way to learn if you have an infection, to find the cause, and to get treatment.
When you have a sinus infection, you may need to blow your nose often because of nasal discharge, which can be cloudy, green, or yellow. This discharge comes from your infected sinuses and drains into your nasal passages.
The discharge may also bypass your nose and drain down the back of your throat. You may feel a tickle, an itch, or even a sore throat. This is called a postnasal drip and it may cause you to cough at night when you're lying down to sleep, and in the morning after getting up. It may also cause your voice to sound hoarse.

Seawater is water from a sea or ocean.
Yazar: kevinmanuel - 09-04-2018, Saat: 15:36 - Forum: Deniz Suyu Satış - Yorum Yok

Hi,

On average, seawater in the world's oceans has a salinity of approximately 3.5%, or 35 parts per thousand.
This means that for every 1 litre (1000 mL) of seawater there are 35 grams of salts (mostly, but not entirely, sodium chloride) dissolved in it.
Although a vast majority of seawater is found in oceans with salinity around 3.5%, seawater is not uniformly saline throughout the world.
The planet's freshest (least saline) sea water is in the eastern parts of Gulf of Finland and in the northern end of Gulf of Bothnia, both part of the Baltic Sea.
The most saline open sea is the Red Sea, where high temperatures and confined circulation result in high rates of surface evaporation and there is little fresh inflow from rivers.
The salinity in isolated seas and salt-water lakes (for example, the Dead Sea) can be considerably greater.
Seawater is more enriched in dissolved ions of all types compared to fresh water.
Scientific theories behind the origins of sea salt started with Sir Edmond Halley in 1715, who proposed that salt and other minerals were carried into the sea by rivers, having been leached out of the ground by rainfall runoff.

  Seawater
Yazar: kevinmanuel - 09-04-2018, Saat: 15:35 - Forum: Deniz Suyu Satış - Yorum Yok

The six most abundant ions of seawater are chloride (Cl-), sodium (Na +), sulfate (SO24-), magnesium (Mg2 +), calcium (Ca2 +), and potassium (K +). By weight these ions make up about 99 percent of all sea salts. The amount of these salts in a volume of seawater varies because of the addition or removal of water locally (eg, through precipitation and evaporation). The content of the seawater is indicated by salinity (S), which is defined as the amount of salt in grams dissolved in one kilogram of seawater and expressed in parts per thousand. Salinities in the open ocean have been observed from about 34 to 37 parts per thousand (0/00 or ppt), which may also be expressed as 34 to 37 practical salinity units (psu).
Inorganic carbon, bromide, boron, strontium, and fluoride constitute the other major dissolved substances of seawater. Of the many minor inorganic chemical constituents, inorganic phosphorus and inorganic nitrogen are among the most notable, since they are important for organisms that inhabit the oceans and seas. Seawater also contains various dissolved atmospheric gases, chiefly nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and carbon dioxide. Some other components of seawater are dissolved organic substances, such as carbohydrates and amino acids, and organic-rich particulates. These materials originate primarily in the upper 100 meters (330 feet) of the ocean, where dissolved organic carbon is transformed by photosynthesis into organic matter.
Many of the characteristics of seawater correspond to those of water in general, because of their common chemical and physical properties. For example, the molecular structure of seawater, like that of fresh water, favors the formation of bonds among molecules. Some of the distinctive qualities of seawater are attributable to its content. The viscosity (ie, internal resistance to flow) of seawater, for example, is higher than that of fresh water because of its higher salinity. The density of seawater is also higher than the same reason. Seawater's freezing point is lower than that of pure water, and its boiling point is higher.

  HOW TO GROW BITTER MELON
Yazar: kevinmanuel - 27-03-2018, Saat: 09:45 - Forum: Acı Kavun Bitkisi Hangisidir? - Yorum Yok

Hi,

Bitter melon is a favorite in Asian and Southeast Asian cooking. It can be stuffed with pork or shrimp and steamed or pickled or served with meat or soup.
Bitter melons are a bitter and mouth-puckering taste-something like an acquired taste of grapefruit or very dark chocolate.
The bitter melon is a member of the Cucurbitaceae family, which includes squash, watermelon, muskmelon, and cucumbers. Bitter melon can be grown to cucumbers or cantaloupes, but they are a subtropical plant and require at least three to four months of warm and humid weather to mature.
Bitter melon is a vining plant. It has deeply lobed leaves and grows in a fashion similar to squash, cucumbers, and watermelon producing vines 13 to 16 feet long if left unpruned. Fruits are oblong and either smooth or warty, usually about 8 inches (20 cm) long but fruits can vary in length between 2 and 10 inches (5-25 cm) long. The fruit shifts in color from yellow to orange as it ripens and over-ripens. The flesh has a watery, crunchy texture, similar to a cucumber.

  The Sinusitis
Yazar: kevinmanuel - 27-03-2018, Saat: 09:43 - Forum: Sinüzit Nedir? - Yorumlar (1)

Hi,

Sinusitis, also known as a sinus infection or rhinosinusitis, is inflamation of the sinuses resulting in symptoms. Common symptoms include thick nasal mucus, a plugged nose, and pain in the face. Other signs and symptoms may include fever, headaches, poor sense of smell, sore throat, and cough. The cough is often worse at night. Serious complications are rare. It has been reported that it lasts for less than 4 weeks, and as chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS)
Sinusitis can cause infection, allergies, air pollution, or structural problems in the nose. Most cases are caused by a viral infection. A bacterial infection may be present if symptoms last longer than ten days or if a person worsens after starting to improve. Recurrent episodes are more likely to occur with asthma, cystic fibrosis, and poor immune function. X-rays are not typically required unless complications are suspected. In chronic cases confirmatory testing is recommended by either direct visualization or computed tomography.

  Bitter Melon (Gourd) tea
Yazar: davefollmers - 14-02-2018, Saat: 15:39 - Forum: Acı Kavun Nerden Bulabilirim? - Yorum Yok

What,

I have been drinking a bitter Melon (or Gourd) for about a month and the results are great. I am also on the LCHF diet. I am VERY strict about my carb intake; Preferably less than 20 grams per day, and I also eat lots of meat. Through diet alone, my readings are about 6.2 to 6.9 mmol two hours after a meal.

However, the tea basically takes a full off on my reading (e, g from 6.4 to 5.4). I drink a cup of the tea after a meal. It does not take long to start helping my readings, maybe half a day. Once it kicks in, my readings go down to the 5.2 to 5.9 range two hours after a meal.

The tea is cheap, about $ AUD3.00 for a box of 20. The taste is not unpleasant, maybe a bit oily. Certainly drinkable, but you will not serve it for afternoon tea!

Mulberry leaf and Bitter Melon Tablets
Yazar: davefollmers - 14-02-2018, Saat: 15:37 - Forum: Acı Kavun Bitkisi Hangisidir? - Yorum Yok

What,

Just over a year ago I started following the Low Carb food plan priciples. I had just had a hab1c of 72 and put on Metformin at 2000mg per day (had been Diet controlled for 5 years). I have had two consecutive hab1c 6 monthly readings of 46 and 42. The bitter Mellon capsules have definitely got a benefit as measured in an increase in my daily readings .

I have just been reading about Mulberry leaf capsules and wondered if anyone had tried them? I also wonder if they will be safe to take alongside the Bitter Mellon provided I monitor my readings?

I am still taking the Metformin, but I think it will be a less impact than the bitter Mellon and if I get a 3rd low hab1c in April then the Doctor will discuss reducing or coming off them.

I have told the doctor and Nurse that I have a low carb plan and I have no negative reactions to the video course and I have to pay for the costs of the strips. I do not know what to do with the patient. I do not know what I mean.

Please help.

Thanks!

Hello all,

Has anyone ever tried Ku Gua, a chinese vegetable? My parents often cook it and, as the name suggests, I dislike the taste. Out of curiosity, are there any health benefits in Chinese medicine? Maybe this newfound information will give me an incentive to eat it with joy ...

Thank you
